π Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1οΈβ£ Create a New Work Instruction
- Navigate to Management > Work Instruction
- Click "New Work Instruction"
- Enter:
- Instruction Name (e.g., "PCB Assembly")
- External ID (optional, for barcode scanning)
- Instruction image (optional, workers can identify which product they will be producing, before beginning the instruction)
- Click Save
π Tip: Use an External ID (e.g., product number) so workers can scan a barcode to find the instruction instantly.

Step 2οΈβ£ Add Steps to the Instruction
Work instructions consist of multiple steps. Each step contains text, media, and interactive elements.
- Open the Work Instruction Editor
- Click the "+" (Add Step) button
- Name the step (e.g., "Attach RFID Module")
- Add details:
- Description: Explain the task clearly
- Images/Videos: Upload from the Media Directory
- Articles: Link required materials from the Element Directory
- Warnings: Highlight important safety or quality notes
- Click Save
π Tip: Use short, action-driven descriptions (e.g., "Insert screw A into hole B and tighten to 3Nm").

Step 3οΈβ£ Configure Variants and Smart Conditions (Optional)
You can automate workflow logic using conditions, triggers, and variant rules.
Conditional Steps (IF-THEN Logic)
Example:
- IF the workstation is "Assembly Line 2", THEN show Step 3
